Confronted with the wondrous creation of nature, Psalm 23 stirs a surreal resonance within me, lingering deep in my soul. To me, nature is a gift, both the giver of life and the healer of the spirit. I use gold ink to outline the contours of the landscape, creating simple and childlike lines, as if drawn from the perspective of a child. These golden lines depict an ethereal and pure world, symbolizing protection and shelter. Within them lies a forest scene in shades of blue, pure and beautiful, like the perfect intention God prepared at the very beginning of creation. It is His green pastures, His still waters, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit restoring the soul. What a great Shepherd—what could I possibly lack? In the background, chaotic colors intertwine and black branches spread, symbolizing the confusion and temptations of contemporary society. It is as if walking through the valley of the shadow of death in this world. This is both a reflection on reality and a challenge to the world, a pursuit of true freedom—the freedom of truth, the freedom that comes from God.
